Upstream of Rothesay Dock call 999 for emergency services

 

ST. MUNGO CLEAN-UP BOAT REPORT

This report advises river users that the recent acquisition of the St Mungo clean up boat has been so successful that two further but smaller boats have been acquired to assist the City Council with cleaning the City's water courses.

There is a Strathclyde Police Marine Division for the River Clyde but they are not directly responsible for community safety.

Three of the four Strathclyde Police Divisions covering Glasgow have river banks within their boundaries. These divisions and contacts are as follows:

A Division

City Centre - Central and West 0141 532 3000
G Division Helen Street, Govan - Southside 0141 532 5400
E Division London Road, East End 0141 532 4600

Additionally there is also Q Division within Lanarkshire, based at Hamilton (01698 483360).

Calls to the above numbers will be directed to the appropriate Community Safety Department of the police service.
